After the man finished speaking, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside the house. She said no thank you, and the man replied by asking if he could still come inside to use her phone. Since the man was being persistent, she declined again and closed the door in his face.

All of us have had encounters with suspicious situations and people. Some experiences are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am getting helps me figure out what motivates people to get a security system. The woman said she chose to get one the next day.

I have heard plenty of identical stories from other families. You never know what will happen on a given day. I am confident these people did not wake up thinking something abnormal would happen that day. It really highlights the value in always being proactive.
